Eury Perez Could Miss Some Starts
1 year agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Eury Perez has been fantastic since getting the call to the big leagues. He holds a 1.54 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 45/14 K/BB ratio across 41 innings this season. However, the 20-year-old has never thrown more than 78 innings in a single season. That being said, the Marlins are considering skipping Perez in the rotation until after the All-Star break. The team hasn't officially decided yet, but it wouldn't be shocking to see the Marlins do this with Perez. They want to remain cautious with their young arm.
