1 year agoSan Diego Padres catcher prospect Ethan Salas hit his third home run for Single-A Lake Elsinore on Tuesday. The 17-year-old is slashing .237/.353/.402 with 18 runs, 16 RBI, and three stolen bases in 26 games with Lake Elsinore. The catcher is also an impressive defensive prospect, with a 38.5% caught-stealing rate this season. With power, plate discipline, and speed well beyond his years, Salas is shaping up to be one of the best prospects in the league.
