Ervin Santana Allows Three Runs Against Royals Sunday
6 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Ervin Santana allowed three runs on seven hits against the Kansas City Royals on Sunday. He struck out three batters in a no-decision, but the Twins bullpen was able to hold on for a 6-5 victory. Since returning from the disabled list, Santana hasn't prevented less than three runs from being scored in four games started. He hasn't made it past the fifth inning, nor has he struck out more than five. It's safe to say he's still trying to find himself after such a long absence, but other than a spot start here and there, Santana doesn't have much fantasy value outside of very deep, American League-only formats.
