Erik Spoelstra Delighted To Have Josh Richardson Back
1 year agoMiami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra is extremely happy to have Josh Richardson back on the squad. The team's former second-round draft pick signed a two-year deal with the Heat in the summer after playing for five different teams in the past four seasons. "To be able to get somebody like J-Rich, who we are all really comfortable with, who we spent so many hours and years spending time developing him and where he feels also comfortable in our system and how we operate, we just feel very fortunate that we were able to get him when we were able to get him," Spoelstra told Anthony Chiang of The Miami Herald. In the interview, Spoelstra also praised Richardson's versatility and ability to play multiple positions. The 29-year-old should have no issues settling into the team, and some projections even have him as a starter for the upcoming campaign.
