Erik Karlsson Struggles In Return To Ottawa
San Jose Sharks defenseman Erik Karlsson was back in Ottawa for the first time since his big offseason trade and the former Senators captain didn't have a happy return in a 6-2 loss. He had nine shots in the game, but couldn't generate any points and ended it with a minus-two rating. Karlsson had a brief hot spell in November, collecting eight points in five games, but he's now gone pointless in four straight games. Despite playing on a top team, he's minus-11 for the season. Karlsson will look to bounce back on Sunday in Montreal. He has 32 points in 40 career games against the Canadiens.
