Erick Fedde Throws Bullpen Session, Plays Catch Monday
3 years agoWashington Nationals pitcher Erick Fedde (oblique) threw a bullpen session and played catch on Monday. He's been sidelined since June 27 with an oblique strain. The 28-year-old is eligible to be activated from the 10-day injured list this week. There is currently no timetable for his return and he remains day-to-day. Fedde owns a 3.90 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 50:25 K: BB across 55 1/3 innings pitched in 2021. He's shown flashes of upside this season and is worth rostering in deep-league formats. Fedde had a stretch of 19 straight scoreless innings with a 0.79 WHIP and a 17:6 K: BB from May 16 to June 18.
