5 years agoLos Angeles Rams safety Eric Weddle (head) is doubtful to return in Week 1 against the Panthers with a head laceration. Weddle took a knee to the side of the helmet from Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey, and it looked initially like Weddle suffered a concussion. It's good news that it's just being diagnosed as a laceration, although Weddle is probably undergoing concussion testing as well. LA's defense/special teams is one of the top fantasy units, but losing Weddle for any amount of time will be a hit to their secondary.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
