Eric Gordon Struggles from Deep on Thursday
7 years agoHouston Rockets guard Eric Gordon got the starting nod in the absence of guard James Harden (hamstring) on Thursday night. Gordon played 38 minutes in the loss to the Warriors, scoring a team-high 30 points on 50 percent from the field. He did have issues from long range, finishing 2-for-9 from behind the arc, but made up for it by dishing out seven assists, capturing three steals and swatting a shot. Gordon, along with guard Chris Paul, both saw an increase in their productivity and that will likely continue until Harden returns to the lineup within the next few weeks. As a result, he is a must-start, especially in DFS contests as long as the matchup is favorable.
