6 years agoSeattle Mariners starting/relief pitcher Erasmo Ramirez threw a bullpen session Wednesday before the the team's game, and it was his second bullpen session in the last week. Ramirez will be sent for a minor league rehab outing when he is ready and then will rejoin the team. Ramirez is out of minor league options, meaning he would have to be put on the 25-man roster or go through waivers. He may, however, be the odd man out in the rotation and be forced to be used out of the bullpen. Ramirez has worked as a starter and reliever throughout his career, but he only has fantasy intrigue as a spot starter in the rotation.--Feldman Zach
