Ender Inciarte Resumes Baseball Activities
Atlanta Braves outfielder Ender Inciarte (back) has resumed baseball activities but is still "a ways away" and there is no timetable for when he'll go on a rehab assignment. The 28-year-old Inciarte has been out since May 14 and was hitting a disappointing .218/.300/.323 with only two homers, nine RBI, 13 runs and three stolen bases in 140 plate appearances before his injury. Rookie Austin Riley hasn't missed a beat in his first taste of big league pitching, so Inciarte might be more of a fourth outfielder whenever he returns. He's likely been dropped in most mixed leagues.
