Emmet Sheehan Records Multi-Inning Save Thursday
1 year agoLos Angeles Dodgers right-hander Emmet Sheehan completed the last four innings of Thursday's 8-2 win over the Oakland Athletics, striking out two while allowing a walk and a pair of runs, but earned his first save of the season. The 23-year-old made seven starts to begin his Major League career, but he owns a 5.63 ERA and 1.28 WHIP with 30 strikeouts across 38 1/3 innings and will likely be replaced by deadline acquisition Ryan Yarbrough in the rotation. Sheehan doesn't hold value as a long reliever, and fantasy managers can drop him in all redraft leagues.
