Emmanuel Sanders Unlikely To Land With Cowboys
5 years agoThe Dallas Cowboys are unlikely to sign free-agent wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders unless he takes substantially less than what everyone thinks he'll get paid, according to Cowboys officials. With Randall Cobb signing with the Texans, Devin Smith is currently Dallas' No. 3 wideout behind Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup. Sanders would be a nice No. 3 as a veteran presence, but it looks like Dallas won't give Sanders the money he's looking for. The 33-year-old returned from a ruptured Achilles in 2019 and played in seven games with Denver before being traded to the 49ers, where he caught 36 passes for 502 yards and three touchdowns in 10 regular season games. He might not have much left in the tank and probably won't be a consistent fantasy producer in 2020, depending on where he lands.
