Emiliano Grillo Offers Upside At The Players Championship
9 months agoEmiliano Grillo is off to a solid start this season and continues to reward fantasy managers choosing to roster him over the last few months. The 31-year-old Argentinian enters the week on the heels of eight consecutive made cuts, and he's posted six top-25 finishes in just 12 starts so far this season, including a T8 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational last week. Grillo has missed three consecutive cuts at TPC Sawgrass, but course history here is one of the least predictive on Tour and he's undoubtedly entering this week in much better form than in years past. He's shown significant recent improvement in his ball-striking, and he's gained strokes putting in seven of his last eight events. If Grillo can have even an average around-the-green game this week, he should find himself toward the top of the leaderboard heading into Sunday, which would more than pay off his $7,400 DraftKings salary.
