Elvis Peguero Records First Career Save
1 year agoMilwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Elvis Peguero has been surprisingly solid out of the bullpen this season. The right-hander has a 2.89 ERA and a 25/11 K/BB ratio in 28 innings of work. He was asked to hold the lead versus the Cleveland Guardians on Sunday. Normally, Devin Williams is the closer, but he pitched a perfect ninth inning in a tie game. Peguero was asked to pitch the 10th once the Brewers got the lead. He was able to throw a perfect inning and record his first save of his career. It's a nice accomplishment, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect it to happen often in Milwaukee.
