6 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (ankle) ran the bases on Friday and manager Rick Renteria expects Jimenez to do it again either Saturday or Sunday. He'll likely be ready for a rehab assignment after that. Barring any setbacks, there's a good chance we'll see Jimenez back with the White Sox late next week or weekend. The 22-year-old former top prospect has plenty of upside in the long term and should remain stashed in all fantasy leagues. He had three homers, a .241 average and eight RBI in 79 at-bats before his injury. He's MLB Pipeline's No. 3 overall prospect in 2019.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
