Eloy Jimenez Leaves Early With Leg Tightness
2 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (leg) was removed from Wednesday's game against the Cleveland Guardians with right leg tightness. He went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts before exiting early during the seventh inning. The severity of his injury is unknown at this time, and he will undergo further evaluation after the game. Jimenez recently returned to action on July 6 from the 60-day injured list after being sidelined with a hamstring injury. The 25-year-old has been limited to 19 games this season, slashing .197/.239/.303 across 71 plate appearances. Adam Engel would see an uptick in playing time if Jimenez is forced to miss any time. Stay tuned.
