San Francisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell (knee) was placed on injured reserve by the team on Tuesday. Mitchell sprained his MCL during Week 1's loss to the Chicago Bears and is expected to need at least eight weeks to recover from the injury. Look for the 49ers to lean on veteran Jeff Wilson Jr. while also getting rookies Jordan Mason and Tyrion Davis-Price involved. Wilson becomes the back to roster in San Francisco while Mitchell is out.--Matt T - RotoBaller
