Elieser Hernandez Removed From Tuesday's Start
4 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Elieser Hernandez was removed from his start on Tuesday, apparently with an injury. While there has been no word on the extent of the injury, reporters and Marlins President of Baseball Operations Michael Hill, who happened to be on the TV broadcast at the time, mentioned that Hernandez had been dealing with a blister issue on his throwing hand. He was replaced on the mound by Josh A. Smith. Hopefully the extent of Hernandez's injury doesn't go beyond the blister. More news is sure to come after the game.
