Elieser Hernandez Goes Just Four Innings On Wednesday
Miami Marlins starting pitcher Eliser Hernandez lasted just four innings in Wednesday's start. In his four innings, he allowed four runs (three earned) on seven hits and a walk. He did strike out seven, but it took him 96 pitches to get just 12 outs. Hernandez has excellent swing-and-miss stuff, but he throws a lot of pitches and struggles to get deep into his starts. He seems just one step away from becoming a legitimate frontline starting pitcher.
