Elieser Hernandez Goes Just Four Innings On Wednesday
4 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Eliser Hernandez lasted just four innings in Wednesday's start. In his four innings, he allowed four runs (three earned) on seven hits and a walk. He did strike out seven, but it took him 96 pitches to get just 12 outs. Hernandez has excellent swing-and-miss stuff, but he throws a lot of pitches and struggles to get deep into his starts. He seems just one step away from becoming a legitimate frontline starting pitcher.
