Eli Apple Heading To Las Vegas
5 years agoThe Las Vegas Raiders agreed to terms on an undisclosed deal with cornerback Eli Apple. The Raiders continue to bolster their defense heading into their first season in the city that never sleeps. Apple was a first-round bust (10th overall in 2016) for the Giants, and he landed with the Saints midway through the 2018 season. Last year in the Big Easy, Apple had 58 tackles (53 solo), four passes defensed and a forced fumble in 15 games. He doesn't turn 25 years old until August and the Raiders are hoping they can get something out of him in his new home. Apple has just three interceptions in 55 career games to date.
