2 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Edward Olivares (quad) was activated from the 60-day injured list on Saturday and is starting against the Boston Red Sox. The 26-year-old outfielder was out for two months with a left quad strain but he's back with the Royals on Saturday and batting sixth against Rich Hill. Olivares is slashing .303/.358/.434 with three home runs, 12 RBI, and two stolen bases across 99 at-bats this season with Kansas City and should see everyday at-bats for the remainder of the regular season. Nick Pratto was optioned to Triple-A Omaha in a corresponding move.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
