8 months agoMiami Marlins right-hander Edward Cabrera (shoulder) is scheduled to make a rehab start for the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, the Miami Marlins' Triple-A club, on Sunday. The 25-year-old is only expected to throw three innings. Cabrera was diagnosed with a shoulder impingement on March 12th and was placed on the team's 15-day injured list. No timetable has been set for his return, but given that the rehab start goes well, he could be looking to return to a Marlins rotation that's missing key pieces. Cabrera will continue to ramp up his workload and likely need a few more rehab starts before returning to the mound. --Kevin Larson - RotoBaller
