3 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Edward Cabrera (finger) was removed from his start against the New York Mets due to a blister on his right middle finger. The right-hander only lasted three innings before being removed from the game. He allowed two hits, two walks and two earned runs while striking out six. Cabrera ends his rookie years with an 0-3 record to go along with a 5.81 ERA and a 1.63 WHIP over seven starts. The 23-year-old had a few promising outings, but was unable to keep runners off the base paths consistently.
