6 months agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher prospect Eduardo Tait had a big performance in Rookie Ball on Monday. The backstop went 2-for-5 with a pair of homers and five RBI. His big performance marked the first time that the 17-year-old has gone yard multiple times in a game. Per MLB Pipeline, Tait is the clubs No. 8 prospect, but offers big potential that could help him rise up the ranks. Tait swings the bat from the left side of the plate and has a good feel for making hard contact and barreling the ball. His body is still growing, but scouts believe that he'll have some good pop in his bat as his body matures.
