Eduardo Rodriguez Throws Simulated Game
6 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez (ankle) threw 50 pitches in a four-inning simulated game on Wednesday and looked sharp. His next step is likely to pitch in a minor league rehab game. E-Rod is making good progress and should be able to rejoin the rotation before the end of the month. That's good news for his fantasy owners, as he was 11-3 with a nice 3.44 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 9.5 K/9 across 19 starts. The southpaw is one of the better young strikeout pitchers in the game and should be owned in all leagues.
