Eduardo Escobar Triples In Monday's Win
6 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Eduardo Escobar started off Monday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays with a bang. In his very first at-bat, Escobar tripled in a run to give the Twins a 1-0 lead. He went off to hit a run-scoring single in the fourth inning after walking in the third, capping off his 2-for-3 day. One of the more productive players on the Twins and a fan-favorite, Escobar is now hitting .385 in the last seven days. With the Twins mired in selling before the deadline or sticking it through to see if they can keep up with the Cleveland Indians, Escobar has been rumored as a potential trade chip. That said, he will remain a cheap third base option for daily fantasy players, but if he's traded to a contender his fantasy value will raise exponentially.
