Eduard Bazardo Behind In Throwing Program
9 months agoSeattle Mariners reliever Eduard Bazardo is behind in his throwing program this spring due to an undisclosed injury. The 28-year-old was acquired in a trade with the Baltimore Orioles last season after he was designated for assignment by the O's. He made 10 MLB outings between the two clubs and posted a 4.50 ERA and a 16.4% K-BB% across 16 innings of work. The right-hander spent much of his season at Triple-A Norfolk in the Orioles' organization where he worked to a quality 3.05 ERA across 27 outings while he also posted a 3.86 ERA across 10 appearances with Triple-A Tacoma in the Mariners' organization. Bazardo sports a 3.31 ERA across 26 outings in the big leagues but could open the season on the injured list.
