Edouard Julien Back In The Lineup Monday
1 year agoMinnesota Twins second baseman Edouard Julien is back in the starting lineup for Monday night's series opener against the Seattle Mariners and right-hander Logan Gilbert. Julien was on the bench to start Sunday's series finale against the Oakland A's with left-hander JP Sears on the mound but will get back into the starting lineup against a righty on Monday. The 24-year-old has been hot at the dish, collecting seven hits, including three doubles and a homer, across his last 12 trips to the plate while he's now homered three times over his last 18 plate appearances. Julien has been excellent for the Twins in his rookie season, hitting .285 with seven home runs and an .877 OPS across 157 trips to the plate.
