2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies shortstop Edmundo Sosa is in the starting lineup for Game 2 of the World Series against lefty Framber Valdez. Sosa and lefty Bryson Stott have formed a platoon this postseason, which continues tonight as Sosa gets in against a left-handed pitcher. The 26-year-old has made the most of his limited opportunities, going 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, two runs scored, and two RBI this postseason. Sosa has been solely used against lefties, meaning it is likely Stott gets in at some point tonight should the Astros turn to a right-handed pitcher.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
