4 months agoChicago White Sox catching prospect Edgar Quero is being promoted to Triple-A Charlotte, according to MiLB Central. Quero is ranked as the 73rd-best prospect in all of baseball and fourth-best on the White Sox on MLB.com. The 21-year-old showcased his power potential this season at Double-A by launching 12 long balls and tallying 53 RBI with a career-high .463 SLG in 72 games. The young backstop has logged 173 games at the Double-A over the past two summers and has held an overall .263/.372/.396 with 18 home runs and 110 RBI. Quero is considered one of the better-catching prospects in baseball and now has a strong chance of reaching the major leagues next summer.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
