Edgar Quero Continues To Enjoy Big August
4 months agoChicago White Sox catching prospect Edgar Quero has been one of the best hitters in the minor league since the start of August. Through eight games, the backstop has carried a .419/.472/.677 line with two home runs, seven RBI, and a 4:5 BB:K ratio. He has only gone hitless once and has tallied at least three hits in three games. Overall, the 21-year-old has looked quite comfortable since moving up to Triple-A Charlotte with a strong .329/.426/.532 line through 22 games. Quero is ranked as the third-best White Sox prospect and the 70th-best in the sport on MLB.com. Quero could become an intriguing stash candidate in deeper redraft leagues as he could get a late-season taste of the big leagues, given his current pace at Triple-A.
