Easton Stick Plays Terribly Against SF
5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers quarterback Easton Stick is still officially in the running to make the team, but after Thursday's performance, it's hard to imagine how. Stick took over from Cardale Jones in the second half, and the entire offense fell apart. While Jones led four straight scoring drives to start the first half, Stick led two three-and-outs with two first-play interceptions sprinkled in. He was able to guide the backups to a late score to win the game, but the ugliness of the earlier drives was the real takeaway from the evening. Stick may find a way to land on the practice squad, but either way, he definitely doesn't look ready for the big-time yet.
