Easton Stick Makes NFL Debut
5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers rookie quarterback Easton Stick got his first chance in the NFL on Thursday when he was brought in to finish out the first preseason game against the Cardinals. Stick went 7-for-11 for 78 yards, but he did toss one pick on the evening. The North Dakota State alum is not expected to seriously contend for the primary backup position in LA, but with Philip Rivers getting long in the tooth, he could be a long-term play. He'll need to develop quite a ways if he's going to stick in the league, but for now, it's nice to see him getting some reps to learn the speed.
