Eagles Reach Extension With Lane Johnson
5 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles agreed to a four-year, $72 million contract extension with right tackle Lane Johnson on Friday, according to sources. The deal includes $54.595 million guaranteed and is the largest contract for an NFL offensive lineman in history on a per-year and guarantee basis. Johnson has earned it, though, as he's been one of the best offensive lineman in the league for the Eagles. Locking him up long term is great news for quarterback Carson Wentz and the team's running game moving forward.
