Eagles Offensive Line Not Up To Par
6 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles offensive line has been a weakness so far through five weeks of the season. "Right now we're struggling on the offensive line because we have to block longer. We have a quarterback that's coming off of an injury and he wants to make a play," left tackle Jason Peters said. "We just have to block longer in order for him to make a play." Philly ranks 16th in the league with 110.8 yards per game on the ground and rank 11th with 4.4 yards per attempt, so it hasn't been terrible. Still, it's notable with running back Jay Ajayi (knee) now out for the season. They've also allowed 17 sacks (seventh most), which is concerning for a quarterback coming off major knee surgery last year.
