Eagles Interested In Carlos Hyde
5 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles remain in the market for a running back to pair with Miles Sanders, Corey Clement and Boston Scott, and sources are saying that running back Carlos Hyde "is a guy that they're targeting." More specifically, the Eagles are looking for a veteran presence in their backfield since Sanders will be heading into just his second season in the NFL. Hyde will turn 30 in December, but he has just three seasons of over 200 touches, so he hasn't been overused by any stretch of the imagination. The six-year veteran had 255 touches (second-most in his career) for a career-high 1,070 rushing yards with the Texans in 2019. He would be part of a committee approach in Philly if he landed there, and his presence would hurt the potential RB1 upside of Sanders.
