Eagles Defense A Top-Tier Option Against Washington
2 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles defense will face the Washington Commanders on Monday night in Week 10. The Eagles have not given up more than 17 offensive points since Week 1 and currently average 3.3 sacks and 2.3 turnovers per game. The last time these two teams played each other, Philadelphia held the Commanders to six points, sacked quarterback Carson Wentz nine times, and recovered one of two forced fumbles. Wentz will not be playing this week, but Taylor Heinicke does not pose a greater threat to the Eagles' defense. Washington has scored only 17 points each of the past two weeks against Minnesota and Indianapolis and will struggle to score again in Week 10. Heinicke has committed one interception in all three of his games this year and has been sacked a total of six times. Philadelphia should be considered an elite fantasy option in Week 10.
