Eagles Defense A Streaming Option In Week 3
2 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles defense will travel to Washington Sunday to face the Commanders. After allowing Detroit to score 35 points on them in Week 1, Philadelphia held Minnesota to only seven points in Week 2 last Monday. They put a ton of pressure on quarterback Kirk Cousins, forcing him to throw three interceptions, sacking him twice, and forcing him to fumble once. Perhaps even more impressive, Philadelphia defended 11 passes. Washington's offense has been hot out of the gates, with quarterback Carson Wentz throwing for 650 yards and seven touchdowns through the season's first two weeks. It is not only a tough test for the Eagles' defense but the Commanders' offense as well, as Philadelphia is easily the best defense they have faced thus far. Philadelphia's defense is a high-ceiling streaming option in Week 3 but could let up a high point total as they did in Week 1 against Detroit, making them a bit risky.
