Detroit Red Wings center Dylan Larkin has been placed on Injured Reserve, retroactive to Dec. 9. Larkin exited Saturday's game against the Ottawa Senators in the first period after a scary situation where he was lying motionless on the ice for a few moments. He was able to skate off the ice with help and has passed all the scans the team put him through, but he still will be out for at least a week. Larkin will be hard to replace for the Wings, as he has put up 25 points (11 goals, 14 assists) in 24 games so far this season. Expect Joe Veleno and Andrew Copp to replace Larkin and J.T. Compher, who also went on IR on Monday, as the top two centers.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
