Detroit Red Wings center Dylan Larkin injured his knee on Saturday against Florida but was able to complete the contest. With less than 30 seconds played in the game, Red Wings defenseman Jeff Petry hit Larkin on the knee with a shot from the blue line. Larkin needed help to get off the ice. However, he was able to carry on in the second period and ended up producing a crucial power-play goal in the third period that gave Detroit a point in a 3-2 shootout loss. Larkin only recently missed time with a lower-body injury and appears to be desperate to stay in the lineup as the team continues a fierce playoff race in the Eastern Conference. The American centerman leads Detroit with 29 goals and has had the same number of assists in 60 games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
