Dylan Frittelli Misses the Cut at the Wells Fargo Championship
7 years agoDylan Frittelli shot a five-over par at the Wells Fargo Championship, missing the cut by two strokes. Frittelli came into the week as one of the deep sleepers to look out for, so his missed cut was a little surprising, even at his cheap $7,100 price tag on DraftKings. Frittelli put his back against the wall with his Thursday 77, which included a quadruple-bogey on the 17th hole and while he did make a run towards the cut line on Friday by shooting a one-under 70, he eventually was undone by his double-bogey on the 14th hole. Frittelli gained 2.545 strokes off the tee this week and is becoming one of the better players off the tee on the PGA Tour. Like prior weeks, though, Frittelli can't seem to put the other parts of his game together at the same time. Frittelli is not in this week's Players Championship.
