Dylan Crews Snaps Power Outage
4 months agoWashington Nationals outfield prospect Dylan Crews went 1-for-5 with a home run on Friday evening. Crews entered Friday with an 11-game power drought. This was his third round-tripper since joining Triple-A Rochester. Through his first 16 games at the top level of the minor leagues, the former second-overall pick has held a .233/.273/.411 line with 10 RBI, three stolen bases, and a 4:17 BB:K ratio. Earlier this season, the former national champion posted a strong .274/.343/.446 slash line with five home runs, 38 RBI, and 15 swiped bags at Double-A. The 22-year-old is considered one of the best prospects in baseball and could push for a late-season major league debut if he can continue to hit at Triple-A.
