Dylan Carlson Ready For A Rehab Stint Tuesday
1 year agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Dylan Carlson (ankle) is set to begin a rehab assignment on Tuesday with Triple-A Memphis, according to MLB.com. The 24-year-old has been sidelined since twisting his left ankle during a game on May 14. If everything goes as planned, there's a chance Carlson can return during the club's next homestand, which begins on Friday. The former top prospect hasn't turned into the star many were hoping for, as he's slashing .230/.278/.350 with two homers, 12 runs, 12 RBI, and one steal over 32 games this season and owns a career .628 OPS. Carlson should be limited to deeper and NL-only leagues due to his lackluster production.
