Dylan Beavers Having A Slow Start In June
5 months agoBaltimore Orioles prospect Dylan Beavers has been struggling at the plate in June. After slashing .272/. 375/.476 with seven doubles, seven home runs, and nine stolen bases through May, he's just 11-for 49 with two doubles, two homers, and three stolen bases in June. One reason for his slump may be a dip in batted-ball luck this month. At the end of May, he had a .337 BABIP. However, it's down to .265 in June. Overall, it's hard to say Beavers is regressing based on 13 games. In the O's stacked farm system, he's ranked No. 7 (per MLB.com) and expected to make his MLB debut in 2025.
