2 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Dwayne Washington turned nine rushes into 19 yards while adding three receptions for 18 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 17-13 loss to the Houston Texans. He had a strong preseason showing, catching a nine-yard touchdown pass from Andy Dalton while compiling 21 yards after contact. Washington will look to make a more significant impact this year. Washington is fighting for a spot on the running back depth chart behind Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram. The seventh-year back looks to capitalize on a new opportunity with new head coach Dennis Allen. Washington should see more run in the preseason while Kamara's legal situation works itself out.--Ryan_Daugherty
