Dwayne Haskins Injures Ankle In Week 16
5 years agoWashington Redskins rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins (ankle) left the Week 16 game against the Giants with a left ankle injury and is questionable to return. Case Keenum has replaced the rookie signal-caller in the third quarter. Haskins was walking the sideline under his own power with a slight limp but was later carted off for further testing. It's a bummer for those that were using Haskins as a QB2 in a good matchup against New York, and he was 12-for-15 for 133 yards and two touchdowns before his injury. If Haskins' injury isn't too serious, he could return in Week 17 in the regular season finale. Keenum's presence under center won't be much of a downgrade for Redskins pass-catchers, notably Terry McLaurin.
