D'Wayne Eskridge Activated Off PUP List
3 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks activated rookie wide receiver D'Wayne Eskridge (toe) off of the PUP list on Tuesday. Eskridge was sidelined for about three weeks due to a sore toe. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll told the media that the team expects for the rookie to be ready for the season opener against the Indianapolis Colts. Eskridge is a 5'9" speedster who could operate either out of the slot or out wide as a deep threat for the team. He was selected in the second round of this year's draft and has a chance to see some decent playing time as a rookie. His primary competition for playing time behind the team's elite duo of DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett will be Freddie Swain.
