D'Wayne Eskridge Activated Off PUP List
The Seattle Seahawks activated rookie wide receiver D'Wayne Eskridge (toe) off of the PUP list on Tuesday. Eskridge was sidelined for about three weeks due to a sore toe. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll told the media that the team expects for the rookie to be ready for the season opener against the Indianapolis Colts. Eskridge is a 5'9" speedster who could operate either out of the slot or out wide as a deep threat for the team. He was selected in the second round of this year's draft and has a chance to see some decent playing time as a rookie. His primary competition for playing time behind the team's elite duo of DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett will be Freddie Swain.
