Dustin May Moved To Bullpen
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Dustin May, the team's No. 2 prospect per MLB.com, is being moved to the bullpen and is scheduled to make his MLB debut in relief on Sunday against the Braves. The 21-year-old right-hander is 1-1 with a 2.65 ERA, 15 strikeouts and two walks in 17 innings in his first three outings. No. 6 prospect, pitcher Tony Gonsolin could make a start on Sunday and is currently with Triple-A Oklahoma City. Both pitchers are under consideration for the postseason roster. May has the higher ceiling as a starter, but it's unclear if he will get another chance to start in 2019. He's the better stash in dynasty/keeper leagues, but you shouldn't hold out hope that he'll provide any more fantasy value the rest of the way.
