Dustin Johnson Not Worth the Risk at BMW Championship
Something has been off with Dustin Johnson all year. He won on the European Tour in January, but since then, he has not recorded a top-five in the last eight months. There have been reasons for optimism at certain points throughout the season, but they have always been followed by disappointment. The two-time major winner had an impressive showing at the WGC - FedEx St. Jude Classic where he gained 3.6 strokes ball-striking, but he immediately followed it up with a missed cut at the Northern Trust where he recorded his worst ball-striking week of the season. I have long believed that Dustin Johnson can always flip a switch when he needs to, but I am beginning to doubt that theory.
