3 years agoSomething has been off with Dustin Johnson all year. He won on the European Tour in January, but since then, he has not recorded a top-five in the last eight months. There have been reasons for optimism at certain points throughout the season, but they have always been followed by disappointment. The two-time major winner had an impressive showing at the WGC - FedEx St. Jude Classic where he gained 3.6 strokes ball-striking, but he immediately followed it up with a missed cut at the Northern Trust where he recorded his worst ball-striking week of the season. I have long believed that Dustin Johnson can always flip a switch when he needs to, but I am beginning to doubt that theory. --Andy Lack
