3 years agoTampa Bay Rays right-hander Drew Rasmussen will serve as the opener on Wednesday against the Washington Nationals. Right-hander Michael Wacha is scheduled to work the bulk of the innings after Rasmussen departs. Rasmussen hasn't allowed a run with just one hit in his 3 2/3 innings of relief for the Rays this year with seven strikeouts and two walks. In 15 relief outings (17 innings) with the Milwaukee Brewers earlier this year, the 25-year-old had a 4.24 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 25/12 K/BB with one save. He hasn't gone more than two innings in any outing this year, so Rasmussen won't be a DFS option on Wednesday before Wacha.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
